ICBC is the only insurance corporation in BC, they handle registration and insurance of any on-road vehicles in the province, as well as driver licensing. All their renewal reminder letters begin with “Thank you for insuring your vehicle with us”.
As opposed to what, just driving with no insurance? That’s literally the only other option to insuring with ICBC, and super illegal.

Oh yeah I guess that’s true. But still, you still have no choice but to deal with ICBC and buy liability coverage from them

feel free to move here where no insurance is perfectly legal
